The best red carpet looks of 2023— from Deepika Padukone's Louis Vuitton dress to Sonam Kapoor's Rick Owens gown
The year 2023 saw some of the best red carpet looks from Bollywood It-girls on the biggest fashion and black-tie nights of the year, internationally and closer to home. It has been a proud journey for South Asians on a global front, and while the girls worked hard, the stylists worked even harder to gather some of the best looks to grace the carpets.
We began the year on a strong note with Deepika Padukone presenting the awards at the Oscars ceremony in a black velvet mermaid gown from Louis Vuitton that received plenty of applause. It was followed by some of the best red carpet moments in 2023, brought to us during the Cannes Film Festival, courtesy of Anushka Sharma's debut in a Richard Quinn cream gown and Natasha Poonawalla's various looks at the film festival. But that was not all.
Thanks to the number of events that took place over the course of the year including the NMACC gala and the Dior fall/winter fashion show in Mumbai, 2023 turned out to be the perfect moment for Gen Z actors like Khushi Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor to shine in all their sartorial glory and place themselves in the same line as their seniors like Priyanka Chopra and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja.
